Season Opener at Horseheads BMX is April 6, 2013, weather permitting, with registration from 9:30 am – 10:30 am.
Valley BMX‘s first race of the 2013 season will be on April 13, 2013 ….. registration is 1:30 – 2:30 pm.
As a reminder, the USA BMX membership fee will increase to $60 on April 1, 2013. This membership will be good for both cruiser and class. If you renew your USA membership or sign up as a new rider before April 1st you will still receive the membership at the current $45. You don’t need to wait until your membership expires. You can renew at the current rate and receive a membership that will be good for multiple years. Another benefit is Chain Reaction Bike & Skate, Elmira Heights, NY is giving away a $25 gift certificate for use in the bike shop for every sign up.
I will be at Horseheads BMX on March 30th at 10:00 AM until noon to renew or sign up new riders that would like to take advantage of the current rates. If you are closer to Valley BMX, I will be there on Saturday, March 23rd from noon to 2:00 pm to help you with your membership applications. If you cannot make it to one of the tracks on those dates and times, please call me – we’ll work something out.
Also, you can complete an on-line membership form by keying in www.usabmx.com. Just click on the big ad or select the Riders Heading for the form. Horseheads BMX’s track number is 1413, Valley BMX track number 236, and Champion Speedway BMX track number 1719. Ed Garrity
